Our Teaching Artists and Staff are involved in a wide range of professional projects outside of their work with Upstream Arts. Michelle Barnes, aka Michelle Be, will perform in Bedlam Theatre’s  “Making Amends: Post-Election Cabaret” on Saturday, December 1, at 8pm.

Charles Fraser is performing in Miracle on Christmas Lake II at Yellow Tree Theatre, November 23 – December 30. He also leads Defenestration, the improvisation group at Concordia University.  They will be performing in the Fall Student Showcase at EM Pearson Theatre on December 18.

Dylan Fresco is one of 20 artists and artist teams who will present plans for new Arts on Chicago placemaking projects during the Arts on Chicago Preview Party at the Chicago Arts Fire Center on Saturday, December 1, at 7pm (doors open at 6:30).

Rachel Jendrzejewski has been working with Forecast Public Art and audio, video, and mixed media students at Creative Arts High School on a new interdisciplinary installation, “3 bed No bath,” exploring divergent concepts of home. Opening on Thursday, December 6, from 3-6pm. 2nd Floor Gallery at Creative Arts High School, 65 Kellogg Blvd East, St. Paul. FREE.
