Pedro Lander and Brian Bose are both featured in Kaleidescope, a Sparkling Holiday Spectacle!

Our Teaching Artists and Staff are involved in a wide range of professional projects outside of their work with Upstream Arts. Each month, we post opportunities to see their performances, exhibitions, and other events as well as notable accomplishments.

Brian Bose will be performing in Kaleidoscope: A Sparkling Holiday Spectacular! at LUSH Dec 7-23. Pedro Lander will also perform as a special guest during the first weekend. This delicious show features drag, live music, burlesque and circus arts. The youth directing of Aaron Fiskradatz will be on display December 8 & 9, when students from Matoska IB World School in White Bear Lake will perform The Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon KIDS at Lakeshore Players theatre.  Tickets and showtimes available at: lakeshoreplayers.org

Artistic Director Matt Guidry will be performing in The Ball is in Your Court, one of seven short plays that are a part of Pillsbury House + Theatre’s award winning Chicago Avenue Project (CAP). In CAP, local youth are paired with Twin Cities playwright mentors to write short plays around a theme.  The plays are then directed and performed by Twin Cities theatre artists http://pillsburyhouseandtheatre.org/the-ball-is-in-your-court/ 

Sarah Brown is also performing in the awesome Chicago Avenue Project Dec 9-10. Short 10 minute plays created by the brilliant minds of seven elementary school kids and performed by adult actors. Pillsbury House Theater, Sunday December 9 at 7pm and Monday December 10 at 4 pm and 7 pm.

Greg Parks continues to produce and emcee the Twin Cities Clown Cabaret. Beginning at 9pm every second Thursday of the month (next on Dec 13), each cabaret features performing artists from around the Twin Cities showcasing their clowning and physical comedy chops from disciplines than span from stage to street, circus to festival. Dylan Fresco has two upcoming events with The Wonder Drum in St. Paul libraries. On Thursday, December 27 at 2pm this mobile drum experience will be at the Riverview Library and on Saturday, December 29 at 1pm it will be at the Hayden Heights Library.
