The Staples Foundation has generously selected Upstream Arts as the recipient of a 2017 grant! This much-appreciated support will go directly toward supporting our arts residences in 55+ Special Education classrooms around the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area in 2017.
Staples Inc. supports local organizations like ours through its 2 Million and Change program, which allows Staples associates around the world to donate over $2 million in support of educational and job skills programs. In 2015, the Staples Foundation awarded over $2.5 million in grants to 875 local organizations. Upstream Arts is grateful, once again, to be among those organizations for 2017! Thanks in part to this support, we will be able to keep bringing our work to schools with the fewest resources – those who otherwise would not be able to access our programs – in the coming year.
