We’re looking forward to celebrating with you at our annual fundraiser, The Art of We: Are Still Celebrating, where we’ll have opportunities to explore creativity and advocacy through Upstream Arts’ activities. Whether you’ve never experienced Upstream Arts programming first hand or you’ve been part of Upstream Arts residencies for multiple years, you’ll have a chance to try something new, play, create, and connect.
If you’re attending IN PERSON, join us from 6-9pm at the Luminary Art Center. From 6-7pm, you can connect with Teaching Artists and participate in Upstream Arts activities (see below), win prizes, eat delicious hors d’oeuvres, and celebrate the longevity of our community and work. Then at 7pm we’ll continue to celebrate with our formal program and fund-a-need, ending by 8:15pm.
If you’re joining us virtually ONLINE, log in slightly before 7pm to connect with Upstream Arts Teaching Artists and fellow attendees, and stay tuned for the formal program livestream at 7pm, ending by 8:15pm. You’ll also have opportunities to be part of the fund-a-need and win prizes!
Either way you join, we’re looking forward to seeing your faces, celebrating our community, and moving towards a more inclusive, connected world together.

Our professional Teaching Artists will be sharing poems and stories from our classes, highlighting the wonderful relationships, advocates, and creativity we build in our community.
Paint your Self-Advocacy
Paint your representation of your response to the question, “What does Self-Advocacy mean to you?” Then add your painting to the group mosaic to expand our visual definition of Self-Advocacy.
Explore the Gear Petting Zoo
Ever wonder what supplies the Teaching Artists are carrying into each residency? Here’s your chance to find out. Explore different instruments, accessibility aids, and creative tools. From buttons to flip books to visual aids to drums, you get to get up close and personal with the Upstream Arts gear.
Social Skills Scavenger Hunt
Play the scavenger hunt on the back of your program for a chance to win a fabulous prize package! Designed like a bingo card, each square has an activity you can complete (including some of the ones listed above.) Do as many as you like, then drop your card in the prize package raffle of your choosing.
